Joshua 24:15,
15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Cold morning and leaves changing in Bistrita signal that winter is coming but its always a beautiful fall in the city. We have had a very busy fall this year especially in the month of October. Here are some highlights.
The previous verse was the theme for the 1st annual men's conference retreat that was hosted by Calvary Chapel Brasov. We had about 25 men from the different Calvary Chapel's come and participate. Brian had the privilege of teaching the men over a weekend and was really blessed to see men respond to God's challenge to them. Please keep the men who attended this conference in prayer as they seek to serve both the Lord and their families, friends, and colleagues in a new way.

This month we also were privileged to host a team from the Bible College in Hungary for a 10 Day outreach program. They have been a real blessing in working with kids in the after school program with the Roma. The kids in the program have enjoyed teaching the college group how to play soccer and also singing worship songs, and learning simple chords on a guitar. The team had also had the opportunity to share their testimonies, one of which was very powerful dealing with forgiveness, not only with the kids in the space, but also kids that attended the English class the Natalie Bridges teaches during the week. The kids at the English afterwards were sharing with Natalie that they were so moved by the testimony about forgiveness that they were going to go and forgive those in their own family who had hurt them in the past.

Fall also signals our annual women's tea outreach. This year one of the Romanian ladies in our fellowship wanted to organize the tea and wanted Natalie to teach. The theme of the tea was " Real Beauty." Natalie taught on how true beauty is found in God alone and the closer we are to God the more beautiful we are. The tea was the biggest one yet with a majority of the women coming not being saved. It also was one of the best overall according to those in attendance. One of the ladies who has attended every year said," that everything was just beautiful from the setup to the teaching, the games to the food all of it was wonderful." Pray that God's word really take root in the lives of those who came both those who love Jesus and those who have never responded to God's goodness.

Praise Report:
We have both a good washer and a clothes dryer now. Some of you might not think this is exciting but when you have not had a good washer and never a dryer here, these are a real blessing.
Prayer Requests:
That God would call and equip the right men for planting churches in Romania. That God would give each man a vision for his particular City/Region
Pray for the sister of Alexandra, one of the teenagers that attends church, her name is Ioana, she is 9 years old and has been diagnosed with Diabetes. Pray for the family as they are not saved and really scared.
Prayer for the upcoming women's tea outreach, we have a lot of ladies interested that are not saved. Pray that God would use this build up relationships and draw them to him. Pray for Natalie also as she is teaching this year.
Pray also for the quarterly class on parenting that Brian and Cynthia are going to be teaching in Bistrita. This will start in November.
