We are in the process of updating and changing the church website for Calvary Chapel Bistrita. But wanted to send out an update letting you know how you can keep updated while the website will be down starting at the end of this month. You can keep updated on personal things through Facebook, username is bcfouts1, you can also keep track of ministry updates through the Calvary Chapel Romania Facebook page and following us on this blog. If you want to follow me on twitter my username is @FoutsBrian. We have a busy summer planned with a team coming from Hungary to help us with some different ministry outreaches, VBS, street evangelism, and a construction project. So please keep us in prayer. Our desire as always is that the Lord would be Glorified in everything that we do.
Last month we celebrated the marriage of Nicu and Amanda Popescu. Amanda has been in Romania for around 5 years working with us in Bistrita for 3 years. The ceremony was officiated by Adi Blaga and was a beautiful service in Petrosani, Romania, located in the SW part of Romania.
We only stayed for the church service due to the fact that Brian had to be back to teach Sunday morning and it is a 6 hour drive from Petrosani to Bistrita.
Prayer Requests:
Pray that God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of Glory, would give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened that we would know what is the hope to which he has called us, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe.
Please pray that the truths that are heard in the midweek studies and sunday mornings would be not only understood but that they would prayerfully come alive in the hearts of the people here.
Prayer for Divine appointments for all of us in the church that God would direct us supernaturally to those who he is drawing to himself.
Prayer for the Lord to raise up young men, who are like minded and like hearted to catch a vision for reaching their country and planting churches in Romania.
Prayer for a Calvary Chapel to be planted in everyone of the 20 cities over 100,000 in populations in Romania. That God would pour out his Spirit upon this country.
Prayer also for the young people who's parents are really against them attending the church, because of breaking from tradition. Pray that God would give the teenagers love, grace, boldness, and wisdom in dealing with their parents and for their parents and that God would use their bold witness to soften the hearts of their families to the gospel.
